How to make graphic design work for you!
I believe a graphic designer’s role is to present an idea or information attractively and memorably. A ‘good design’ should be simple and clear.
This is especially true of corporate logos and trademarks; subtleties vanish when reduced to fit a business card or a label. Likewise, I believe practical considerations should always be key, especially when designing for print or packaging. The text on a book cover or can label should be as legible on the shelf as on my computer screen. Furthermore, I believe clients deserve to hear the truth at all times. Even if that means discarding the logo design the client has doodled and wants me to convert to artwork—unchanged. In my experience, most clients are willing to compromise, once the reasons for a suggestion or a refusal are explained. Successful designs depend not only on technical know-how and tools but also on the designer’s work experience. The ability to avoid unproductive design routes prevents delays and frustration for the client. For your convenience, I have categorised the graphic design work featured on this site.
